When hardware startups have the prototype and the product in mind but brush off operations, that's where investments quietly stall and even established corporates struggle when exploring new fields.

I take hardware from R&D through pilot and into mass manufacturing. I come with accountability, decisive leadership empowering the team that will own it after I'm gone.

20+ years in safety-critical hardware environments. I've led fleet-wide integration across 500+ units. Taken a hardware product from concept to 10,000+ units deployed across different hubs. Managed fleets of 800+ complex vehicles, 120 people and a procurement budget of €90M+. In each case, the stakes were high and the margin for error was low.

That's not a coincidence. I go where hardware is hard. Because I love to build. Teams and stuff.

I step in as fractional or interim COO for hardware startups at early stage or in growth mode, the phase where getting operations right determines whether the business case survives reality. I analyze quickly, organize the operational backbone, set up the KPI framework, own the execution and hire/empower the team that will run it without me. Then I hand it over.
